캐나다 비자 신체검사 방식 안내

 

캐나다 CIC에서 명시된 내용으로 예전처럼 신체검사를 미리 받는 방식으로 병원에서 신체검사를 받으면 신체검사를 완료했다는 레터를 받아서 온라인상에 업로드 하는 방식입니다. 내일 우선 병원에 전화해서 보다 구체적으로 확인을 해볼예정입니다. 확인하는데로 정확하게 다시 포스팅 해드릴께요. 신체검사를 예전처럼 미리 받게 되면 비자 심사하는데 조금이나마 단축이 될것 같기도 한데. 우선 병원에 확인을 해보는게 가장 우선인듯하네요.

캐나다가 이민국이 파업을 하면서 비자가 늦게 나오고 있어. 조금이나마 비자를 빠르게 받기 위해서 아래의 방식으로 신체검사를 받으시려고 하는 경우가 있는데요. 오늘 병원에 문의를 해보니. 병원마다 다르긴 하지만 제가 문의해본 강남세브란스의 경우 up-front medical 검사의 경우 학생비자학생들에게는 서비스를 제공하고 있지 않다고 하네요. 또한 학생비자 학생들을 up-front medical로 진행을 해본적이 없다고 하네요. 담당자분께서는 종전데로 이민국에서 신체검사메일 통지를 받은 후 신체검사를 받는게 가장 안전하고 빠르다고 하시네요. 우선 현재는 up-front medical 방식으로 하는것 보다는 종전처럼 진행하는게 좋을것 같고요. 추후에 이민국 싸이트에 공식적으로 공지가 확실히 되면 그때에 신청하는게 좋을것 같다는 생각이드네요.

 

Two ways you can have your medical exam

Wait for instructions from the visa office after you have submitted your application

 

In this case, you must go for the medical exam within 60 days of receiving the medical instructions from the visa office. Your application may be refused if you do not.

 

Undergo your medical exam before you submit your application

 

This is called an up front medical exam.

You can contact a panel physician directly to get your medical exam if you apply under one of the following categories:

• Workers
• Students
• Visitors (including Parent and Grandparent Super Visa)

Once your medical exam has been completed, the doctor will give you a document confirming that you underwent a medical exam. You must include a copy of that document with your application. 

 

If the doctor works with the eMedical electronic system:

• they will give you an up-front medical notification printout.

If the doctor works with a paper system:

• they will give you a copy of the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form.

You must attach that form to your application before you submit it the visa office. If you apply online, you must upload that form before you can submit your application.
