2014년 부터 학생비자 소지자 워크퍼밋 관련 변경 사항

2014년 부터 캐나다 학생비자에 관해 많은 변화가 있을 예정이랍니다. 가장 주목할 만한 부분은 학생비자 소지자의 경우 별도의 off campus work-permit 없어도 주당 20시간 일을 할 수 있다는 점입니다. 종전의 워크퍼밋 신청의 번거로움이 사라지게 된것 같네요. 변경되는 비자 법으로 학기 중에 경제적으로 혹은 업무 경험을 쌓는데 잘 활용을 하면 좋을듯 하네요.

 

Eligible international students attending designated institutions would also be able to work part-time off-campus, without having to apply for a separate work permit. This new flexibility would contribute to Canada’s appeal in attracting the best and brightest students from around the globe. This means that the students are going to be allowed to work off campus 20 hours a week without work permit, but by using their student permits in the 2014.
